Handmade

Note: some items are wrinkled, the thought of having to iron hundreds of clothing items and then taking pictures of all of them was just too much for my brain and body to handle, so just pretend the wrinkles don’t exist, thank you ;)
This skirt I made was hand dyed with black walnuts and then eco-printed on with leaves and iron acetate. I made three others, all of which were sold at art shows and craft fairs.
A close up of some of the details!
I found this velvet jacket at the thrift store and decided I wanted to upcycle it and add lace to it. I also took the back in to make it less boxy.
I sewed this dress using a pattern I made and fabric I found at my old job. The lace is from old curtains. I love all of the little cats on the fabric.
I had wanted a red gingham summer dress for a long time but many of them were out of my price range so I decided to sell one myself. I’m quite happy with how summery it is.

This is one of the hardest dresses I have sewn it is made of vintage velveteen fabric and vintage lace. The top is made from a dress from my childhood. It happened to match the vintage velveteen fabric perfectly.
I sewed this skirt for a special occasion. The theme of the occasion was music. The skirt is inspired by the ballet Swan Lake. I wanted it to look like the curtains of an opera theater.
I found this skirt at the thrift store and saw it had potential so I took it home and sewed some lace onto it and added a new elastic waistband.
This skirt is made from a childhood dress of mine. I loved the pattern and didn’t want to let it go so I added some lace and an elastic waistband.
I found this skirt at a thrift store, like many others I saw potential in it, so I took it home and added lace and a new elastic waistband.
I recently sewed this apron. It was the first time I’ve shown an apron before, but I am very happy with how it came out. The majority of it is made from old bedsheets.

I sewed these bloomers out of an old bedsheet. They are very comfortable and can be worn short or long.
